I am an Iowa native who came to Nevada County as a boy on family vacations. As long as I can remember I wanted to live in Nevada County. I fell in love first with the Yuba River that finds its way through most of the county then… I learned there was so much more to appreciate here.

Included in the area's many charms are a rich cultural life and arts scene. Additionally I have found an accepting and embracing community. This and so much more with the back-drop of some of California's most splendid natural environment has greatly enriched the lives of all that live here.


I moved to California in 1983 and finally to Nevada City in 1995. Who would have guessed that selling real estate (which I love) would allow me to live in my favorite place in North America?!

Having also lived in Los Angeles, I easily relate to the dreams my clients hold about a higher quality and more affordable way of life.

Now having lived here more than 10 years, and reaching the top of my profession…I find Nevada City, Grass Valley and surrounding environs more unique and special everyday. This is the California we all dream about!
